Hubertus Hamm (b.1950 Werdohl in Sauerland, Germany)
Hubertus Hamm studied at the Bavarian State Academy of Photography in Munich from 1970-1973.
After receiving a degree in photography upon completion of his studies in 1973, he assisted photographer Jan Keelmann until 1975. Since then he has been practicing conceptual, editorial and applied photography in his own studio. From 1989 to 1992, Hubertus Hamm was the principal tenant of the Praterinsel in Munich, where he initiated and led the project “Praterinsel for the Arts” In 2009, he founded HEADEGG, an exhibition platform for contemporary art.
Hubertus Hamm is a long-time member of the Art Director’s Club of Germany (ADG), the Association of Freelance Photographers Germany (BFF), the German Society for Photography (DGPh) the German Photographic Academy (DFA) and the Association of Photographers (AOP).
